Trailer Boat & PWC Repairs, Rebuilds, Modifications & Upgrades
We provide a range of repairs, modifications and upgrades for trailer boats, jet skis and personal watercraft across the Gold Coast. From smaller repairs and equipment installations through to structural work, rebuilds and custom modifications, we tailor each job to suit the vessel and how its owner uses it.

Detailing & Vessel Care
We can also assist with detailing, washdowns and general vessel care to keep trailer boats and PWCs clean, maintained and ready to use. Where mechanical, electrical or other specialist work is required, we can coordinate the appropriate marine trades.
Aluminium Boat Floor Replacement
The deteriorated timber floor aboard this aluminium trailer boat was removed and replaced with Coosa composite board, providing a strong, lightweight and rot-free alternative to timber. The new floor was fitted to the existing structure and finished with new marine carpet, giving the boat a clean, practical and long-lasting result.
Trailer Boat Inspections & Sea Trials
We provide practical trailer boat inspections for owners and prospective buyers looking for an experienced assessment of a vessel’s condition. Drawing on our boatbuilding and shipwright experience, we assess the boat from a practical construction and workmanship perspective, helping identify visible defects, deterioration, previous repairs and areas that may require further attention. We can also provide practical recommendations for repairs, modifications or upgrades based on the vessel, its condition and how you intend to use it.
Where required, an inspection can also include a sea trial to assess the vessel underway and identify issues that may not be apparent while the boat is sitting on the trailer.
Haines Signature 525F - Post-Delivery Inspection & Sea Trial
Following delivery of this Haines Signature 525F, we carried out a general check-over of the vessel along with a number of modifications to better suit the owner’s requirements. Works included new, upgraded rod holders and cleats, a custom forward berth bed infill and a custom bait station.
Once the works were completed, we carried out a short sea trial to check the boat underway and ensure everything was operating and performing as expected.
Pre-Purchase Trailer Boat Inspections
Looking at buying a used trailer boat? We can carry out a practical pre-purchase inspection to assess the vessel’s visible condition and identify areas that may require further attention. This can include the hull and structure, floors, transom, fittings, onboard equipment, previous repairs and general workmanship, helping provide a clearer picture of the boat before purchase.
